I remember being in The Bay with my ex-husband and I was waiting at the Clinique counter. In front of me, two guys were basically buying the same woman's face cleaner and cream I was just about to buy myself. I turned to my husband and said "Now, if I was a girl I would never let my boyfriend go buy cosmetics for me." And my husband looked at me and said "But you are a girl!" Oh, how embarrassing it was when I inadvertently forgot I was a girl! I am sure glad I never do that anymore :)

Interesting. Personally, I don't think there is such a thing as "thinking like a guy" or "thinking like a woman". There is SO much variation among both men and women. It's just that certain patterns are seen as more "logical and rational" and have been idealised as male thinking. That's my opinion . . . but that opinion is based on my own experience as well as what I've learned from anthro. Your mileage may vary.

Sorry you're going through bad PMS. I remember those days. Ugh.
